Unity and hope -- that's the message after a devastating tornado flattened parts of Ohio . Communities like those in the Indian Lake area are now coming together, springing into action to help one another. March 15, 2024 initially served as a hub for community members in need of resources such as food, water or clothing, which had been collected and distributed by the community. Resources were also being delivered to community members by vans if they were unable to get to the school.
A representative from the district told ABC 6 that there has not been much demand for the school to function as an overnight shelter.
