An effort to remove sections of the collapsed bridge resting on the Dali was postponed on Sunday. Early Monday morning, Unified Command is planning to refloat and move the M/V Dali from its current location to a marine terminal , as recovery efforts following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge continue to take place.
Eighteen hours before the relocation process, preparations to refloat the ship are expected to take place, starting midday on Sunday. This includes removing and securing any obstructions surrounding the Dali, pumping water out of the ship and securing it with tugboats.Once the obstructions are removed, Unified Command will complete a full inspection before the transit process begins.
