Desde que el ser humano viajó al espacio, sus comidas no han sido nada del otro mundo. Pero eso podría cambiar después de que un chef con estrellas Michelin se asoció con la startup de Florida, Space Perspective, para llevar la alta cocina a nuestra alta atmósfera a finales de 2025.

El primer hombre en el espacio, el cosmonauta soviético Yuri Gagarin, exprimió pasta de carne y hígado en su boca desde un tubo de aluminio. Para ahorrar peso, los astronautas a bordo de la Estación Espacial Internacional suelen comer platos empaquetados en recipientes rehidratables, como sopas y guisos. Ha habido algunas excepciones.
