Ukraine races to restore power across the country after Russia sent a new barrage of missiles to target critical infrastructure

Ukraine raced to restore power across the country on Thursday, a day after Russia sent a new barrage of missiles to target critical infrastructure, resulting in the temporary shutdown of most of its power plants and leaving the “vast majority” of people without electricity. The national energy company Ukrenergo said work was “taking longer than after previous attacks” because Wednesday’s assault targeted power generation facilities and caused a “systemic incident.

Hospitals relied on generator power or even head torches worn by staff as they continued to perform operations. In one Kyiv hospital, doctors were performing heart surgery on a child when the power went out. Dr. Borys Todurov posted a video on Instagram that showed surgeons working by the light of their headlamps as they waited for the generator to kick in.

Russia threatens to cut supply of gas through Ukraine | CNN BusinessEurope is bracing itself for further cuts to its supply of Russian natural gas as Moscow threatens to slash flows to Moldova, a country on Ukraine’s southwestern border. 6-10x energy costs in Germany, who laughed in Trump's face when he predicted this. I hope they're all fired. PLUS Ukraine would've never happened if Trump was POTUS so ALL the lives lost- amd all the oil amd money is the cost of the liberal New world order. Very expensive Time to have Ukraine join NATO then invade Russia and take the oil fields an natural gas. According to all international protocols, the use of hexachloroethane AKA 'nerve gas ' in Javanroud is a clear example of a war crime, crime against humanity & genocide! As a citizen of Iran, we request the international community to use the R2P law.
