UK nurses stage new walkout as strike wave intensifiesLONDON (AP) — Thousands of nurses in Britain walked out Wednesday in a new protest over pay, with no end in sight to a wave of strikes that has piled pressure on the U.K.‘s overburdened public health system. I thought government healthcare cured all medical and political issues in one pretty, cost-effective package. And they brought a cute dog with them. We have similar problems in the United States, ever since ObamaCare (every doctor and nurse I've spoken to has confided they HATE it) which has deteriorated our health and dental systems. I've been trying to get into a dental office for 2 years now, unheard if before OBAMACARE.

Patients told to expect widespread disruption as nurses strikeOne out of every four hospitals and community services will be affected by the two 12-hour walkouts. Some public sector workers have had good pay rises, for over a decade...and even enjoy expenses perks and other housing/energy perks...and even get all these benefits despite not performing their job specification targets. Re Zahawi: You are derelict in your duty to the public in failing to address this fraud on the public purse! For shame!
