UK jobs growth jumps again despite broader economic slowdown

LONDON, - The number of people in work in Britain jumped again in the last three months of 2019, according to data which underscored how the labor market defied a slowing of the broader economy ahead of December’s election.

Full-time employment accounted for most of the growth while self-employment also rose strongly, the Office for National Statistics data showed. In another sign of confidence among employers about their hiring intentions, vacancies in the three months to January rose to 810,000, their highest since the three months to September 2019.Total earnings growth including bonuses, rose by an annual 2.9%, the weakest increase since the three months to August 2018.

So UK does not need to bow to CCPChina as it keeps good economy status? No Huawei and China companies for the train!
