After weathering years of dysfunction and scandals, Uber will IPO on Friday. : After launching a decade ago and becoming a household brand , Uber makes its IPO debut Friday in one of the most anticipated and highly valued IPOs in history.
But Uber: Shares priced at $45, the company said late Thursday, the low end of an expected $44-$50 range. It's selling 180 million shares, raising $8.1 billion, and some investors have agreed to sell an additional 27 million. Shares will trade under UBER on the New York Stock Exchange.
