THE HAGUE - Lawyers for the United States are expected on Monday to reject the jurisdiction of the U.N.’s highest court to resolve a case brought by Iran seeking to lift U.S. sanctions against Tehran.
Washington has maintained that the real aim of Iran’s legal suit is to restore a 2015 nuclear pact opposed by the administration of President Donald Trump. Hearings this week in The Hague will only deal with the preliminary matter of whether the court has jurisdiction to hear the dispute.

It's clear that Americans don't respect any international institutions, neither world court nor ICJ Already they have imposed sanctions on officials of ICJ those who wanted to investigate about their war crimes in Afghanistan
. 'U.S. to challenge World Court's jurisdiction' = TANTRUMP .
I’m sure they were not drunk calling for 1955 treaty. I am not saying it is wrong... But they need to implement the treaty as a real friend to the USA. The contexts: 'There shall be firm and enduring peace and sincere friendship between the United States of America and Iran.'
Iran's defense is a treaty from 1955? They realize that was a totally different time, right? I doubt the US recognizes any agreements with Iran before 1979, and clearly they aren't holding onto contemporary agreements.
America is no difference. They kill minority.
The world's worst rogue nation at it yet again. And no, I didn't mean Iran.
The world's institutions were founded by and funded by the US, they have always been an extension of US power and influence. If they no longer serve that function the US shouldn't participate. Also they only function with American participation.
