U.S. stock futures ticked up late Monday, following Wall Street's worst day since the 1987 crash. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YMH20, +1.73% were last up about 300 points, or 1.5%, while S&P 500 futures ESH20, +1.65% and Nasdaq-100 futures NQH20, +2.

16% were also up more than 1%, suggesting gains when the market opens Tuesday morning. During regular trading, the Dow DJIA, -12.92% plunged nearly 3,000 points, or 12.9%, to settle at 20,188.52, while the S&P 500 index SPX, -11.98% tumbled 324.89 points, or 12%, to end at 2,386.13, and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -12.32% dropped 970.28 points, or 12.3%, to finish at 6,904.59.
