The U.S. special envoy for Haiti has resigned his post, officials said, announcing his departure in the midst of a Biden administration decision to conduct large-scale deportations in response to a surge of Haitian migrants

As the U.S. started flying hundreds of migrants from Texas to Haiti on Sunday, border patrol agents on horseback tried to prevent others from crossing the Rio Grande into the U.S. The Biden administration said it was closing part of the border with Mexico.

US politics in Haiti is terrible, what happened in Texas with the Haitianmigrants is the result of a bigger mess of the USEmbassyHaiti. Former US Special Envoy for Haiti, Amb. Sison, USEmbassyHaiti, is a disgrace. She left a huge mess that Amb. Foot could not clean.

We need to do better with this situation. Democrats and Republicans need to work together and stop pointing fingers.

US special envoy to Haiti resigns over migrant expulsionsThe Biden administration’s special envoy to Haiti has resigned, protesting 'inhumane' large-scale expulsions of Haitian migrants to their homeland wracked by civil strife and natural disaster, U.S. officials said Thursday. The envoy's sudden departure leaves a void in U.S. policy toward Haiti and adds another prominent, critical voice to the administration’s response to Haitians camped on the Texas border. Wait a minute! ‘inhumane’ treatment here at the border? I wonder why they’re leaving their country? How ‘humane’ were they being treated there that they HAD to leave? Why didn't he open his house to the homeless Americans?

U.S. special envoy for Haiti resigns over deportationsThe U.S. special envoy to Haiti has submitted a letter of resignation over what he called the 'inhumane, counterproductive' decision to deport Haitian migrants. NBC's Morgan Chesky reports from Del Rio, Texas. That’s not the way you do it, you stay and fight for their rights 🤦🏻‍♀️ Over 500K dead in the last year, so I think we have room.. What is going on with the media? Why is no one asking how they got to the US-Mexico border of all places, of all times? The more the media ignores this question the more it seems hard to not just conclude someone is trying to create a headache for Biden.

Why thousands of migrants, many from Haiti, are stuck at Texas-Mexico borderUS should face the problem instead of avoiding the problem, lives are at risk when US are avoiding problem, situation come when US are closing themselves,US should open up and welcome them, temporary shelter is at least US can offer,Haitians will go back when Haiti return to peace. And everyone wants to help them, but they can't just walk in,not from that island. The conditions they came from could create a detrimental situation if they're not medically examined and quarantined before they enter the country. It sucks but its got to be that way. They aren't putting their lives at risk.....GEEZ
