U.S. records more than 90,000 Covid-19 cases in one day for the first time

The World Health Organization advised governments to maintain positivity rates at 5 percent or lower for 14 days before reopening, but according to the, 35 states and territories were above that positivity rate as of Friday morning.

Of those, Wyoming reported a 650 percent spike in Covid-19 deaths in the last 14 days, the NBC numbers showed. Ten deaths were reported Thursday in Wyoming, boosting the state’s total number of coronavirus fatalities to 87, the data showed.
