A Tennessee school board removed the graphic novel 'Maus,' about the Holocaust, from curriculum due to language and nudity concerns'Maus,' the Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel about the experiences of Holocaust survivors, has been removed from an eighth-grade English language arts curriculum by a Tennessee school board over concerns about 'rough, objectionable language' and a drawing of a nude woman. Like an 8th grader has never seen a nude woman on the internet. In Tennessee the holocaust never happened & vaccines are dangerous. Here in Germany we are very concerned about that decision. Be aware of the beginnings! Always! Maus was as powerful a way to convey the horrors and human reality of the holocaust as any other during my youth and the exclusion of such a profound work is only going to make sure kids (future adults) feel ever removed from events that still impact their daily lives.
