The Institute for Supply Management said its index of national factory activity fell to 48.1 from 48.3 the month before. The reading was below expectations of 49.2 from a Reuters poll of 57 economists.
Sad. The part of the economy on which Trump obsesses - old factory jobs - is fading away. The new economy, which he doesn’t understand, and services sector he disdains (and doesn’t count when he computes trade deficits) are holding up in 11th year of USA growth.
Wow the fourth month in a Row Manufacturing is declining. It appears the Trade War is having a Huge detrimental impact not just on Global Economies but also Right Here in the Rust Belt. Manufacturing workers were fooled by the Trump CONJOB. Let’s see if you can be fooled twice?
