Hollywood actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin among parents charged in college admissions fraud scheme

BOSTON - U.S. federal prosecutors on Tuesday charged dozens of people in a years-old $25 million scheme to help wealthy Americans buy their children’s way into elite schools including Yale, Georgetown and Stanford universities.

Prosecutors said Singer’s operation arranged for fake testers to take college admissions exams in place of his clients’ children, and in some cases arranged for applicants to be listed as recruited athletes even if they had no athletic ability.

Federal Prosecutors Charge Dozens in Broad College Admissions Fraud SchemeProsecutors charged dozens in a wide-reaching college admissions fraud scheme, involving cheating on entrance exams and efforts to bribe coaches 絲毫不奭 Hope they find out where AOC bought her test answers and term papers. She obviously didn't do the reading! So the cost of college education always increases MUCH more quickly than GDP, we emphasize college even for those who would be better off in trade school, we don't fund trade school at all, and we're surprised when we see things like this? I dunno, folks. Doesn't compute to me.
