FORT NOVOSEL, Ala. - The U.S. Army Aviation Museum at Fort Novosel is home to over 3,000 artifacts, from medals of honor to the aircraft that was shot down in the Battle of Mogadishu. “The simple understanding of how much effort people have gone through to make flight and technology possible,” said Army Aviation Museum Curator Bryant Macfarlane. “What they have been able to achieve with those sorts of things...it’s very important to be able to get the human side of the story across to everyone as well.”
