Tyler Perry Makes History with 'Tyler Perry Studios'
The filmmaker and actor wanted to do something special this holiday season because of the toll the pandemic's taken on many families, and so he set up a Thanksgiving meal giveaway to the first 5,000 families that would come through. According to NBC News affiliateVolunteers for the #TPSGiving event handed out non-perishable goods and gift cards through curbside pickup stations. And by around 10:00 AM, they had already run out.
