They snuck into the half pipe after closing and rode on a sled. Looks like they launched off the end of the half pipe area, falling dozens of feet before landing in front of the copper sign

Incredibly sad. When we were kids we always had near death experiences. The snow is so hard packed and icy especially in the cooler evening. I can’t imagine how fast they were going. They needed a net at the bottom or something but how could they know…

Tragic. Two lives cut short too soon.
