OAKLAND — A shooting in East Oakland Friday night left a 31-year-old man in grave condition and another man in stable condition, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 10:16 p.m. Friday outside near the intersection of 89th Avenue and D Street. Police responding to a gunshot detection system alert found the 31-year-old man, an Oakland resident, and a 32-year-old man, a San Leandro resident, both wounded.East Bay babysitter to serve life sentence for molesting infant
Police believe the men were the intended targets of at least one shooter but have not confirmed a motive yet. No arrests have been made.
