Two men arrested in connection to East Side apartment murder

SAN ANTONIO - Two men have been arrested for allegedly killing a man inside his apartment complex on the East Side.According to police documents, officers responded to a shooting and found a 33-year-old man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.

Shortly after, investigators say another shooting call came in near the 1300 block of Culebra, where a 21-year-old man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his left arm. Police say during the investigation, officials discovered Dmontrey Massengale as the suspect seen on surveillance video at the scene of the Antioch Village Apartment murder.

According to documents, the footage shows Massengale, Scottie Ferguson, and another man walking inside the victim's apartment complex on the day of the murder. Moments later, Massengale and Ferguson were seen running out to a white SUV and fled the scene. The third suspect allegedly fled on foot.
