The film, directed by Ethan Coen, follows the story of Marian, a neurotic sexually shy lesbian, and her sexually liberated friend Jamie. In an attempt to escape their current lives, they embark on a road trip to Tallahassee, Florida. However, a miscommunication with a car service leads them to a car that some criminals are after. Ethan Coen, known for his quirky and idiosyncratic films, brings his unique style to this crime-filled journey.
