Shortly afterwards, when fans pointed out the problematic imagery on the shirt, Chaeyoung deleted the post and uploaded an apology in its place.I sincerely apologize regarding the Instagram post. I didn’t correctly recognize the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt I wore.
I deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it, causing concern. I will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent any situation similar from happening again.

This is one area where K-Pop artists struggle sometimes (world history & other cultures). Yes, they can't know EVERYthing about EVERY culture, but the swastika is a MAJOR symbol to be aware of. World history is crucial, especially when they're trying to go international.

For some context, I think the reason there’s been so many issues like this and idols not realizing is because the Buddhist manji symbol is the exact same as the symbol the nazis used. In Asia this symbol has an entirely different meaning.
