After dust-up, condo association postpones board meeting for ‘informational session’After the board made its initial offer, owners began gathering signatures to call for a special meeting to vote on board members’ removal. The petition needed 20% of owners’ signatures to reach quorum and on Aug. 15, Julie Dupont, an attorney retained by two owners, notified the board and property management that 156 owners — 26.2% of the complex — had signed.
If those demands are not met, Dupont wrote, the owners who signed the petition would have no choice but to sue. Lee called the board “incompetent,” noting that the Renaissance only recently fixed its pool after two summers without it, and that the building has visible wear and tear that has gone unmaintained.
