Russian foreign and defence ministers to hold talks on Libya and potential ceasefire there with Turkish counterparts in Istanbul on Sunday

Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Saturday said Libya's conflict doesn't have a military solution and that his country is ready to help end the conflict there."Algeria stands at equidistance from all parties and is ready to help end the crisis."

"This cooperation was not triggered in any way by any recent events – it is rather part of our natural and usual dialogue and exchanges." GNA also recaptured Tarhouna, ending a 14-month offensive on the capital by the eastern-based Haftar militia, earlier in June. The discoveries have raised fears about the extent of human rights violations in territories controlled by Hafter’s militia, given the difficulties of documentation in an active war zone.Meanwhile, mines planted by militants of Haftar claimed the lives of two civilians in a civilian settlement in Tripoli.

BTW aren't Algerians the same people who provided fuel to Russian Aircraft Carrier when it was heading to Syria to kill Muslims at the behest of Iran and Assad?

Turks must be on the alert. Putin would only like to gain time to reassert hegemony in Libya through that thug Haftar! Russians have no intention of ever keeping any agreement. Ask Chechens, Georgians or Ukrainians! And remember Syria.

seems like we have to see the gloomy moody face of lavrov again
