Tuesday night downtown Phoenix stabbing leaves 1 dead

PHOENIX — A man is dead following a stabbing in central Phoenix Tuesday night. Police did not say whether or not they have a suspect or suspects.responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Jefferson Street for reports of an assault around 11 p.m. When officers got to the scene, they found a man with stab wounds.

The man was treated by Phoenix fire personnel and he was taken to a local hospital.
