“The American dream is back, bigger, better and stronger than before. No one has benefitted more than America’s middle class,” Trump said. The U.S. president also took a thinly-veiled swipe at climate change activist Greta Thunberg, who earlier in the daypolitical leaders and the press to listen to the science on reducing carbon emissions. “This is a time for optimism, and reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of apocalypse... they predicted overpopulation and the end of oil. We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy,” Trump said.
