Trump reiterated on Monday that the Senate vote to replace Ginsburg “should be taken, frankly, before the election,” saying there is “plenty of time” to confirm a new justice with less than 50 days to go until Election Day.
But Trump predicted that a contentious vote to confirm Ginsburg’s replacement would shore up support for vulnerable Senate Republicans vying for reelection in November, including Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado. Trump also predicted the GOP would retake the House, and criticized the two Republican senators who have issued statements opposing a confirmation vote before Election Day, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
“I think she’ll be really hurt badly in two years,” he continued. “And I think that Susan Collins is going to be hurt very badly. Her people aren’t going to take this. People are not going to take it.”
Just another way for TRUMP to steal the election Say its fixed and take it to the Supreme Court just like Bush It's the Republican way
Has hypocrisy ever been so blatant, so exposed as w/the SCotUS appointee? Usually for risk of embarrassment & being caught, it is kept out of sight. But not now w/trumpian governance. They lie & don't care who knows it b/c their followers don't care.
And when he makes an announcement there will be another explosion of Democratic fundraising.
Americans are already voting. Ramming a SCOTUS nominee through the Senate without proper vetting and consideration would be an insult to our democracy. Let the people decide, not an impeached president! RBGsDyingWish TrumpIsATraitor
“I would say yes a woman would be in first place. Not only because I support all women. But now with only two women on the court it’s just too much to expect them to clean up after the men all by themselves.”
I hope she and millions of other women and their children do not get the Trump Virus.
No matter who you choose they will be always illegitimate
