Trump. Sessions. Bloomberg. For a few days, Alabama is at the center of American politics.

The state's early deadline to qualify for the ballot forced a surprise decision this week: Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is expected to file to run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination in Alabama -- ensuring that he wouldn't be left off the ballot there. The news came right after Jeff Sessions, the former Alabama senator and US attorney general, launched a bid to challenge Democratic Sen.

A month after the firing, Trump tweeted,"Jeff Sessions should be ashamed of himself for allowing this total HOAX to get started in the first place!"When asked on the White House lawn by CNN on Friday if he would endorse Sessions, Trump said,"I saw he said very nice things about me last night, but we'll have to see."Trump's comments come after Sessions tried to ease tensions with Trump.

Can someone cnn get Fredo Jr aka DonaldJTrumpJr to autograph my book? realDonaldTrump

I'll sum this up. Nope, Hell Nope, and Pardon Me M'am--but Nope.

Bloomberg can beat Trump. Trump will be running on a positive economy. Bloomberg is experienced and proven with the economic issues. People are empathetic but will vote their pocketbooks. I believe there would be room for a progressive on the ticket.

I don't meany any disrespect but he sure does look like an elf.

I guess that makes Alabama the large intestine

Napoleon Bloomberg forgets about his Waterloo..... Sessions needs to think about recusing himself from the public eye. (Better headlines) 😎

Jeff Sessions jumps into the crowded Alabama Senate race a year after Trump fired himA year to the day since Trump fired him as attorney general, Sessions launched his campaign to win back his Alabama Senate seat. I'm glad that gal from SNL is moving on to bigger and better things. It tells me that Sessions thinks Alabama voters won't punish him for his soured relationship with trump. In fact, they may be happy to have an anti-trump Republican Senator to vote for after they vote for a Dem President. He needs to be subpoenaed

Jeff Sessions Announces Alabama Senate Bid By Sucking Up to TrumpIf Sessions's message is sycophantic, it’s probably also a good idea: Trump has a 59 percent approval rating in Alabama, where he could serve as kingmaker in the senate primary Trump is too petty to support Sessions no matter how much he sucks up. Yes he did a great job last time. The King he made? Doug Jones. Uh. Didn’t hold sway in the election to fill Session’s vacant seat.
