WASHINGTON—President Trump is expected to sign an executive order on Tuesday addressing police misconduct, as protests against excessive force and racism continued nationwide.

“We’re going to be talking about things that we’ve been watching and seeing for the last month, and we’re going to have some solutions, I think some good solutions,” Mr. Trump told reporters Monday afternoon. He said he expected to sign the order Tuesday.

MissSilly3 Maybe someone looked in the cupboard and found this report from May 2015.

What took so long

It's a dat late and a dollar short, man

Honestly who cares anymore...they got scared when they heard defund...they quickly put something together...so folks would stop screaming to defund...I bet you it's a bunch of babble to shut folk...

Sources say that the order includes a proposal for every town to have a Sheriff named Andy and a bumbling but hilariously funny deputy, Barney. His original idea. 🇺🇸

There isn’t as much protesting as the media would like you to believe

That’s not enough

Me as trump!

With a blue sharpie?

The executive order is basically giving additional funding to the police departments for training etc, so basically more policing.

Is anyone at all talking about the supplemental after July 31st No?! We all headed to the bread lines....

Something tells me he’ll do the complete opposite. 🤡

We are being heard. Set the bar High. Keep protesting for justice and equality.

Someone should sign a law on executive misconduct and remove the rump from office. As bad as the police misconduct, equally devastating, and no effective oversight from congress.

My money is that “addressing” it actually means he’s going to sign an order that gives annual bonuses to police departments with the most excessive force reports filed against them. A FY 15% increase in police brutality? Congratulations here’s a check for $15 million.

WHAT CAN POSSIBLY GO WRONG 😳

We are being heard! Our voice matters. Vote!

Oh isn’t that rich, so we aren’t invading America still realDonaldTrump? I guess declaring war on your citizens is bad for polls.

Why isn't Congress doing the same

This would be more than Democrats have done collectively over the past several decades to directly address police brutality...but something tells me this will not be universally lauded as a step in the right direction. Because OrangeManBad.

But the federal government has zero power over the police force....

Trump’s days are numbered...WE VOTERS in Nov will take care of him with just 2 words: “You’re FIRED”

We are not a racist country—quite the opposite.

Hoping for some kind of positive actions. Bar isn’t set very high but Hope is still there.

God help us 🤦🏾‍♂️
