Trump, North Korea’s Kim End Nuclear Summit Without Agreement

HANOI—President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un failed to reach an agreement at a second summit aimed at curbing North Korea’s nuclear-weapons programs, the White House said, despite Mr. Trump’s assertions that the two leaders had built a “great relationship.”

The White House had said earlier that Messrs. Trump and Kim would sign a joint agreement at a ceremony Thursday afternoon. The event was canceled, along with a scheduled lunch meeting. The White House said Mr. Trump would speak to reporters at about 2 p.m....

China probably offered Trump some NK goodwill for suspension of March tariffs. Now the tariffs are suspended, he got nothing back in return. You can't trust the Communists.

Wow. Woulda probably helped if Trump had taken 10 minutes to study the history of the Kim family (not to mention previous negotiations with them) to understand that--like his buddy Putin--all they care about it getting the sanctions lifted. Not setting up a megamall in Pyongyang.

We are lucky Pompeo was running the negotiations or NK may have gotten all the sanctions lifted for a Kim Jong Un pinky promise and the first NK McDonalds franchise.
