As former President Donald Trump confronts a Senate impeachment trial, 12 other notable “Stop the Steal” speakers have faced few, if any, consequences

Daughter-in-law and son of President Donald Trump

“He has more fight in him than every other one combined, and they need to stand up and we need to march on the Capitol today. And we need to stand up for this country and stand up for what’s right,” he said.“We will not allow the liberals and the Democrats to steal our dream or steal our elections.” The president’s firstborn son, Donald Jr., prodded Republicans in Congress still on the fence about Trump’s election challenges, saying the vote was an opportunity to be either a “zero or a hero," a “friend or foe.” He cast their hesitancy as cowardice and said, “I’m going to be in your backyard in a couple of months” if they didn’t vote with Trump.

The fact that so many people revved up the crowd to march on the Capitol before the Impotus got up to speak seems like extra proof of his complicity to incite insurrection, since at that point, he had the power to calm the crowd but used their anger to further rile them up.

Yet! They will probably start such proceedings after the impeachment trial is over.

Will this change once Merrick Garland is confirmed? Is that why the GOP has tried to slow walk his confirmation?

Every. Single. One. Should be facing criminal charges. Giuliani, Jr, Eric, Eric Eastman, Cawthorn, & Ken Paxton for inciting the mob. Gosar, Biggs, Brooks & others who planned it. Anyone involved in funding the rally. Ted Cruz & Josh Hawley for repeating the constant

An absurdity is that many Republicans and Christian Right still believe that their status as a role model or moral authority is untarnished. Go figure. Instead of wearing masks, they wear blinders.
