Beneath them is a whole universe of disaffected edgelords, hiding their anger behind a mask of ironic detachment. The trolls, whose speech is too ugly and violent for Twitter and Facebook, are the ones whose censorship was decried at Trump’s social media summit. They’re part of the family, with some of the same ideas, and some of the same enemies.
WTF? The Internet does the exact opposite of all those things. It destroys our community and our relationships with people and only empowers the big tech gatekeepers and the far left & right political figures.
