Liberal jurist Jill Karofsky on Monday won a 10-year term on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court, a victory Democrats say bodes well for former Vice President Joe Biden’s prospects in what is viewed as a top presidential battleground state this November.
Ms. Karofsky defeated incumbent Daniel Kelly, who President Trump had endorsed. Results were released almost a week after the April 7 election—balloting that highlighted the logistical challenges of voting amid the coronavirus pandemic—because of court rulings related to absentee ballots....
