The nation's most ambitious infrastructure project is falling apart.

A construction site is seen on the California High Speed-Railway in Fresno, California on May 5, 2019.

Governor Gavin Newsom blasted the decision in a statement, saying it’s “political retribution” for the state’s opposition to Trump’s policies, such as the plan to declare a national emergency to fund a border wall. “This is California’s money, appropriated by Congress, and we will vigorously defend it in court,” Newsom added.

. But he remained hopeful officials would come up with a solution before those federal funds are needed.: China, Japan, Spain, France and South Korea already have sprawling high speed rail systems.: California’s high speed rail has been beset with delays and swelling costs since the project got off the ground in 2008.

So we force California to stop wasting more, money? Thank you Mr. President.

Trump was told that the train was on the track being beta-tested by workers at 300mph & the others were sent home rather than completing a section.. - Nation's most ambitious infrastructure project is falling apart

How can anyone work with people whose boss tweet lies all day, will not read the information he presented with, and has a hate for the very citizens the rail is being built for? Answer: you cannot replace the leaders Has anyone figured out the cost to demolish what’s been done vs. the cost of finishing that worthless section?
