ByThis system is expected to track into the eastern Caribbean by Friday.Another tropical storm is expected to form in the Atlantic from a disturbance barreling toward the Caribbean and has prompted new watches for the Windward Islands.

This system is currently a broad area of low pressure producing clusters of showers and thunderstorms more than 1,000 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands. Tropical storm watches have been issued for parts of the Windward Islands, including Guadeloupe, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Barbados and Martinique. This means tropical storm conditions are possible in these areas within the next 48 hours. with any tropical cyclone usually spread beyond its forecast path.)

This system is likely to move across the eastern and central Caribbean over the weekend. Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands as well as Hispaniola might see heavy rainfall from this system by Saturday.
