Troll is a Netflix original, fantasy action/adventure film from Roar Uthaug ) and writer Espen Aukan. An explosion in the Norwegian mountains causes an ancient troll deep within to rise from its slumber, and begins a march towards Oslo, leaving death and destruction in its wake.
A group of unlikely heroes are assembled, led by a paleontologist to put a stop to the monster's rampage and save Norway from complete destruction. The film launches on December 1 2022 exclusively on Netflix and looks to join the ranks of disaster/kaiju monster battle films that have emerged in recent years.
