Tritax Big Box REIT PLC said Monday that it expects to collect almost all of its fourth-quarter rent and that take-up of its rental space has beaten previous records. The commercial-property investor said that 99% of the rent due for the fourth quarter will be collected by the end of November--89% of rent has been paid to date, 10% is scheduled on a monthly basis over the remaining quarter, and the company is in discussions with tenants over the coronavirus-related deferral of rental payments for the remaining 1%.
