Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence met with the media last week and discussed the team's impending free agency, past season and future growth.

"The people they were, the hard work, all the things that people don’t see always, there’s a lot of things that go into that," said Lawrence.

Lawrence exceeded all expectations, throwing for 4,113 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He completed 66.7 percent of his passes, a franchise record for a Jaguars QB that completed at least 23 passes in a single season. “It feels good, just the foundation that we have here, that we set this season and last offseason, knowing that I’m going to be in the same system, all those things moving forward, I’m really excited to have that experience and have all this tape to learn from and so many things," Lawrence said.

Lawrence will have a — likely — full arsenal of talent next season with receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones returning and suspended receiverentering the fold. The team will also attempt to re-sign Engram, who was a vital part of the Jaguars' offense last year. "They’re both fearless, Trevor doesn’t fear anything," he said."They’re very authentic, so when you have leaders at the quarterback position and at the head coach position that are like that, everybody else just kind of falls in line.”
