The District 9 supervisorial candidate justified his decision because he has ‘serious unresolved issues’ with some of the hosts.

Chandler declined to elaborate, but a person close to his campaign said his statement was a reference to two people: Jon Jacobo, who used to be Calle 24’s vice president, and Kevin Ortiz, who is the president of the Latinx Democratic Club. earlier this year referenced tweets and multiple unnamed sources alleging similar allegations against Ortiz, but cited no police reports and it appears the allegations stemmed from a single online anonymous account.

When asked if he had any evidence to support his campaign’s allegations about Ortiz’s wrongdoing, Chandler said, “As my statement says, there are serious unresolved issues.”
