Greene solo-authored “Tent Revival,” his sixth Gospel Airplay leader, and co-produced it with Brunes Charles, Matthew Edwards and Reggie Rhett.. “Having six No. 1s is something I could have never imagined in my career. ‘Tent Revival’ is the first single from our church’s music group Forward City, featuring the incredibly talented D’Nar. My desire has always been to push the genre forward, by writing and performing music that is enjoyable, yet uncommon. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.
Greene’s sixth No. 1 follows “Good & Loved” , which dominated for a week in May 2021. His third of 11 Gospel Airplay entries, “Intentional,” awarded him his first No. 1 in January 2016. Greene joins five other acts for the fourth-most leaders on Gospel Airplay, which launched in March 2005: Jekalyn Carr, Todd Dulaney, Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Marvin Sapp. Tamela Mann leads with 10, followed by Kirk Franklin and James Fortune & FIYA .
