Federal transportation officials are considering a range of options to enforce President Joe Biden's new face mask requirement for interstate travelers, including the possibility of fines in the thousands of dollars, multiple sources told CNN.
The normal rulemaking process can take months, at least, to complete, so officials are believed to be considering emergency actions that could take effect much sooner. Biden signed an executive order Thursday mandating interstate travelers wear a mask, and on his first day in office, he challenged Americans to wear masks for 100 days to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
Good luck enforcing that
Guess the airplanes ventilation isn’t as good as they say. Is anyone honest these days?
What is this, China? No fines. This is the USA where we value our freedoms.
Only ones in the world, complaining about masks, is the USA! The whole world is masking up! Smarten up!!!
Here, the police offered a face mask to those without one. If the person refused to comply they were charged. Maybe something like that. Don’t let them on without a mask.
Who the hell has enough money to fall under these regulations?
