'Training Is Not Enough': Senator Cory Booker Demands Accountability From Police

CoryBooker The tax payers have to stop fitting the bill for their misconduct. I’m sure if an officer could loose his home/car for treating people in an unacceptable manner, he would not do so. But, because they’re insulated from being civilly responsible, they act recklessly.

CoryBooker A change in policing requires more than training, but a better breed of human that will be expected to represent the law in our communities. To serve and protect needs to be the expectation. Which also means when they fuck up, they should be held to the highest of standards.
