The southbound Union Pacific cargo train was carrying 55 railcars and two locomotives. Train officials say the iron ore is used in the steelmaking process and is not considered a hazardous material. Is someone messing with the tracks? There's been an unusual amount of derailments lately, and it would be too easy to mess with the tracks and cause an accident. We need to check and protect tracks better.
