Tracking weekend rain chances

) - We started off with peaks of sunshine begin this morning, and it will only continue to stay that way heading into this afternoon. Winds will continue out of the south, around 5-10 mph, increasing our humidity across the Gulf Coast. This high humidity could lead to feels-like temperatures near 90 degrees. Rip current risks are moderate today, but drop to low tomorrow.

Overnight, mostly clear skies will continue. We will still start off mild to begin tomorrow, with patchy fog possible. Overnight lows will only fall into the mid-to-upper 60s. Heading into tomorrow, we will see a mix of sun and clouds. Daytime highs will continue in the upper-70s and the lower-to-mid 80s, with an increased rain chance. Right now we have a 40% chance to see isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Futurecast models are keeping the majority of the rain for our inland counties, and during the afternoon.
