Towa Bird weighs the pros and cons of dating a friend on bittersweet new single 'Sorry Sorry.'

this June — but before she does, she’s got a new single to tide everyone over. The singer and guitar player has dropped “Sorry Sorry” ahead of her new LP.

On the catchy, bubbly tune, the singer details how “tears and tequila made the secrets come out” with a friend who wants to be more than friends. On the chorus, however, Bird is worried about losing this person as her friend. After a tense car ride, she says “sorry sorry” for all the things left unsaid. She teased the song on Instagram earlier this week, posting a photo of an answering machine and a short clip singing along to the audio.
