Feb. 28, 2024.The National Weather Service based in Wilmington, Ohio has confirmed that three tornadoes occurred during Wednesday's early morning storms.The first tornado was confirmed to be an EF-2 in Blacklick. That same tornado then moved onto the Jersey area, located in Licking County, where it weakened into an EF-1.
The third tornado was a confirmed EF-1 in the Hilliard area of Franklin County.Details regarding the tornadoes' strength and their pathways are still being assessed by the NWS, and their survey crews are currently out assessing storm damage.See local damageAreas of central Ohio that were hit hardest by the storms have gone to social media to share what resources they have available for storm damage cleanup and repairs.
