WASHINGTON - A top Senate Republican, John Cornyn, said on Wednesday that should the U.S. House of Representatives vote to impeach President Donald Trump, he doubts a motion in the Senate to immediately dismiss the charges would succeed. Cornyn, who spent years as the Senate’s no. 2 Republican, said such a motion would not receive the 51 votes necessary in the Republican-controlled Senate to pass. He said he was confident that ultimately, a vote in the Senate to remove Trump from office would fail.

This creep publicly associates refugee children with drug trafficking & prostitution & calls for their immediate deportation. He's one of the most remarkably stupid & malignant figures in US politics.

Actually its a fact. The whole process is a waste and a political operation.

Senator Cornyn needs to be removed, as well. His head is too far up the orange stain’s rear end.

Pre judging a trial will get jurors dismissed. Hmmmmm

JohnCronyn PLEASE, make up your mind before hearing the witnesses. Juries don't get to convict on newspaper articles.

The picture of an impartial jury 🙄

Maybe John should wait to hear the testimony? Kind of surprising he has already made up his mind without hearing the facts. 🤔

This isn’t news. No one’s surprised the Republican-controlled Senate won’t vote for removal.

Perhaps But let's take a recorded vote anyway

Without waiting for the testimony and evidence to be presented 🙄

Politics It’s past time politicians put country above political party. The Trump mob is corrupt.

CORRUPT CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IN 2020. ImpeachmentHearings

JohnCornyn you don’t think it would be your duty to hear the evidence?

Trump's base will not flinch no matter what the evidence says. Cornyn needs them to win Texas next year.

Not publicly they won’t. But in private, highly likely.
