In an entertainment industry full of uncertainty, few movies seemed as sure a bet as a sequel to the 1986 classic “Top Gun.”
The Chinese tech firm Tencent Holdings Ltd. in 2019 signed on to co-finance the film, which the Shenzhen-based conglomerate hoped would yield a windfall at the box office. Yet when “Top Gun: Maverick” hits theaters this weekend, it will do so without any financing from Tencent, and without any mention of the Chinese firm that had once boasted of its involvement in the film.
My friend saw the movie. He said its the same as the old one. No changes. Seems they couldnt come up with a new story. Too bad.

Instead of 'Top Gun' he was probably instructed to have the movie called: 'Second class aviator well under our own Glorious Chinese Communist Heroic Fighting Airmen and Airwomen'. Sadly, they could not fit that tittle on the poster.

Chinese actors always shown to be very strong in martial arts fighting and able to beat anyone be it whites or blacks 'which l know they can't stand a fight with a black man'. Are they not proven to be pro-chinese as well?
So, chinese movie don't prove to be pro-chinese. America just have alot of haters out there nowadays starting with the russians, chinese, arabs, indians, some Africans, but yet they all love to live in the US.
