Top CEOs strongly condemn the Washington riots and Trump—here is what they’re saying:

The violent unrest we’re witnessing in our nation’s capital is both shocking and disturbing. It violates the very foundation of our democracy. Following an election in which we saw record excitement and turnout among Americans, we must unite together to move forward as a nation. I urge leaders from both sides of the aisle to take a stand and call for the violence to end.

Now, more than ever, we need to foster an environment of inclusion and healing, where we listen to each other, respect each other, and keep our country as a beacon for democracy.“The chaos unfolding in the nation’s capital is the result of unlawful efforts to overturn the legitimate results of a democratic election. The country deserves better. Business Roundtable calls on the President and all relevant officials to put an end to the chaos and to facilitate the peaceful transition of power.
