In the caption, Hall called the commercial"disrespectful" and appeared to threaten legal action."Dear @douglas_cosmetics Ummm Really? I’m not USUALLY a 'lawsuit kinda guy' but this is just plain disrespectful," he wrote.
Hall continued, saying that even if the company was parodying his song, he felt they still crossed a line."I get it when it’s done for parody purposes but this is a commercial people. Just sounds WAYYYYY too familiar," he wrote, before calling his fans to action."Do better people, don’t steal someone’s ideas for the sole purpose of advertising your company.
