In the midst of awards-season chaos, an elegant lunch in the private dining room of the San Vicente Bungalows, to celebrate the launch of new Polo Ralph Lauren accessories, was a welcome respite—just ask any of the brand’s A-list devotees who spent last Thursday afternoon sipping rosé and lunching on bites of chopped salad.
Each attendee had one in tow but found their own unique way to style it accordingly. “I grew up visiting my grandparents in Kalispell, Montana, where there were amazing thrift and vintage stores. The best thing you could discover there was a vintage Ralph Lauren flannel or belt, and I continue to be on the hunt always for great Ralph Lauren pieces.
Sitting next to her was friend Emma Roberts, who styled her white Sloane bag with a calf-length white dress, southwestern belt, and tan suede booties. “Their dresses are so wearable for every day or getting dressed up. It’s hard to find a line you can wear for a casual day look as well as an event,” said Roberts.
Others in attendance to celebrate the launch included Camilla Belle, Kathryn Newton, Hunter Schafer, and Djuna Bel-Rowe, all wearing casually elegant ensembles—mostly in blue and white, the theme of the afternoon—accented with the new bags. However, Indya Moore perhaps had the best styling tips.
